Dewey didn't turn the town around singled-pawed. I must say I was bowled over by how well the authors used Dewey as a window through which to view a small American mid-western community's struggles with economic and personal challenges.

I picked up a digital copy of this book on a lark as a cat and library lover I figured it would be 2 bucks well spent even if it wasn't great.
